Oak Hill Flooring was founded by two professionals with over 30 years of combined experience in the Hardwood Flooring industry. Initially, we began producing pre-finished flooring packaged in plain white boxes for local contractors who visited our trade supply store in Etobicoke, a small suburb of Toronto. Before long, word spread within the contractor community about the quality and affordability of the “white box” floors and orders began coming in from all areas of Ontario.
It was quickly recognized that the best way to keep up with the demand was to begin sourcing lumber directly. After touring various regions of Canada and the USA, contracts were secured with a Northern mill that was capable of supplying clear material in the long lengths that were required. Once the mill was up and running with our own supply, we felt it was time to shift from the plain white boxes and put a brand name to our product. The name “Oak Hill” is representative of the terrain that surrounds the mill where Oak Hill Flooring is produced.
As a proudly Canadian company, Oak Hill Flooring supports local businesses and utilizes local resources wherever possible. Today, Oak Hill Flooring is sold at the retail level through an extensive dealer network made up of individuals who are passionate about providing quality products for their clients. Our parent company, Oak Hill Distribution Inc. is responsible for wholesale orders, dealer inquiries and customer service for our complete line of Solid Hardwood, Engineered and Laminate floors.
